Marko Ivic is a pianist and composer working at the intersection of acoustic piano, minimalism, and live electronics. His music is contemplative in nature, layered and expansive, built on the belief that electronics can extend the piano’s sound while preserving its full lyrical and expressive range.

After years of interdisciplinary work across theater and dance, he returned to the piano to explore what he wanted to say musically, and found his answer in the space where classical lyricism meets minimal composition and electronic sound. This search gave rise to Reflective Music, an improvisational practice that invites audiences into a different kind of listening, and to his debut album When I entered, there was a room(2024).

Born in Maracaibo, Venezuela, Marko studied classical piano in Zagreb and live electronics at the Amsterdam Conservatory of Music. He is currently based in Chicago.
