Marko Ivic is an interdisciplinary pianist based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. His music draws inspiration from minimalism, classical lyricism, and electronic sound design. Blending the acoustic piano with live effects and improvisation, he creates expansive sonic landscapes that evolve organically—merging structure with spontaneity and inviting the listener into a rich, immersive world of sound.

His exploration of immersive environments through improvised music—developed under the name Reflective Music—has become a central element of his artistic practice. In these sessions, Marko invites the audience into a state of deep listening, encouraging them to connect inwardly as they engage with the unfolding electroacoustic soundscape. By shifting the listener’s perspective and embracing the vulnerability of improvisation, each performance becomes an intimate, self-exploratory experience that transcends traditional concert formats.

Originally from Maracaibo, Venezuela, Marko moved to Croatia to study classical piano and later continued his education in live electronics at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. Since then, he has developed and performed in numerous interdisciplinary productions across music, theatre, and performance art—taking on the roles of creator, performer, and sound designer. His work is rooted in curiosity, poetic presence, and a constant search for new forms of connection through sound.
